About Timber Bronze®
Timber Bronze® is
a small company based in Wallowa County, northeastern Oregon. We are located near glacial Wallowa Lake in an
area watched over by the snow capped Wallowa mountains and Eagle Cap Wilderness. The Hells Canyon National
Recreation Area and the Snake River separating Oregon and Idaho is only a few miles to the east. Our location is the inspiration for our products.
Timber Bronze® is
owned by Myron and Kendra Kirkpatrick. When the Company's founder originally conceived the
Forest Impressions© product line several years ago, others
experienced with the lost wax method of production told him it was not possible to make a consistently
high quality bronze pine cone or morel mushroom. Difficult and costly, yes, but not impossible as you will
quickly discover when you view the beautiful and unique items on our web site. As you browse through our
hardware products and accessories, visualize how beautifully they would fit into your own log, timber frame or post and
pole home or any other situation where a rustic decor is appropriate.
All Timber Bronze®
products are cast in the world class bronze foundries of Wallowa County, Oregon. These foundries produce
fine art products for artists around the country and internationally. They have produced such works as the
Merrill Lynch bull in New York's financial district, the American soldier's memorial in Branson, Missouri,
the statues in Lewiston, Idaho, commemorating the Lewis & Clark Expedition and much of the bronze work that
appears in the World War II Memorial as well as new display cases and stair railings for the Capitol Visitor's Center in Washington, D.C. The same level of detail and care used in these
works is applied to the production and finishing of each Timber Bronze product.
Our goal is to provide you with unique, high quality cast bronze hardware and
accessory items for your rustic home - products that you will appreciate and enjoy each time you use them
and that will invite the attention and comment of your family and friends. Feel free to browse through our
web site and e-mail
or call us with any questions
or suggestions.
